  • Issue field observation reports, deficiency notices, and punch-list items to EPC contractors.
  • Verify corrective actions are implemented and re-inspect completed work for closeout.
  • Support root-cause analysis for recurring or high-impact quality issues, and elevate unresolved or significant issues to Construction Management
  • Support commissioning readiness inspections and pre-energization walkdowns.
  • Witness electrical testing, including continuity, megger, and functional testing, as applicable.
  • Coordinate punch-list closeout prior to mechanical completion, substantial completion, and COD, and support resolution of quality-related issues identified during commissioning.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain detailed inspection records, photographs, and quality logs for all inspected work.
  • Review contractor quality control (QC) documentation, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and test reports for completeness and accuracy.
  • Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports summarizing progress, findings, and open items.
  • Populate and maintain quality records in Procore and other project management systems, and support development of turnover and closeout documentation packages.
  • Coordinate inspection activities and hold points with EPC contractors and subcontractors, and attend quality, progress, and coordination meetings.
  • Review contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and witness critical hold-point inspections.
  • Support vendor and factory quality reviews as needed and provide quality performance input for contractor evaluations.
  • Safety & Cross-Functional Support
  • Follow all site safety requirements and regulatory safety standards while conducting inspections; report unsafe conditions or practices observed in the field.
  • Coordinate with Engineering to resolve design or constructability issues identified during inspection.
  • Support Construction Management with quality input for schedule and risk discussions.
  • Special Projects and Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Supervision of Others: Junior Quality Inspector.
