Jobot is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support cutting-edge space products in Goleta, California. You will collaborate with program managers, engineers and manufacturing to implement QA plans, ensure compliance with AS9100, and drive CAPA.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in quality engineering, a Bachelor's in engineering, and CQE certification preferred. The role offers hourly compensation of $50–$75 with competitive benefits including platinum health insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering, preferably in space/aerospace.
• CQE certification preferred.
• Experience with AS9100 and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA plans with PMs, engineers, and manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct internal and external audits for quality and regulatory adherence.
• Lead CAPA and non-conformances to drive corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify improvements and actions.
• Maintain AS9100 quality management system.
• Support manufacturing with problem solving and process improvements.
• Train and mentor junior quality engineers on QA processes.
