Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Engineer III in Elyria, Ohio to lead quality initiatives across value streams and ensure QMS execution. You will drive PQP deployment, advanced problem-solving, and supplier/customer engagement, while guiding cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires seasoned experience with quality tools, audits, CAPA, and risk management, and will interact with operations, engineering and supply chain to sustain high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience handling complex, multi-value-stream quality issues and leading cross functional initiatives; MRB/issue disposition authority preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of customer, regulatory and Parker PQP requirements; translates requirements into advanced processes within the site or division.
• Owns deployment and governance of PQP tools and quality procedures at the site and advanced processes for the Division; evaluates effectiveness and drives corrective actions for gaps within site, across sites or within the Division.
• Lead diversified, cross-value-stream or multi-site problem solving using structured methods (e.g., A3, 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone) for complex quality issues.
• Facilitate MRB activities; certified to disposition/adjudicate nonconforming material; verify containment and effectiveness of CAPA.
• Develop and deploy solutions to systemic issues in complex processes, sites or multisite processes; drive root cause elimination and risk reduction across processes/products.
• Advanced Technical Quality Tools and Risk Management ownership; own and drive process capability and control processes; manage qualification/validation activities (e.g., PPAP/FAI) and ensure configuration management; lead internal audits.
