Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in engineering (or technical) with 5+ years of experience.
• Strong root-cause and corrective-action knowledge.
• Experience with SPC, process capability, Gage R&R, FMEA and control plans.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Solid project management, organization, and problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality-analysis software.
• Self-directed and team-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Quality ownership for pump products, processes, suppliers, and quality systems.
• Lead cross-functional root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Apply SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, capability studies, and other tools.
• Analyze quality and warranty data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Lead efforts to reduce defects, rework, scrap, and cost of quality.
• Ensure designs, drawings, specs, and processes meet quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and quality training to plant personnel.
• Support development and implementation of the plant Quality Management System.
