Google is hiring a Senior Product Quality Engineer for Opto-Mechanical Modules and XR in Fremont. You will own end-to-end quality strategies across LEA and DSA, coordinating with internal engineering and external partners to meet high standards through NPI and mass production.

You will drive RCCA, leadership of cross-functional teams, and use data analysis to guide design and process improvements, supporting the XR initiative at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE/Optical/Mechanical/Physics/Materials or equivalent.
• 5 years hardware product quality or reliability experience in display modules or consumer electronics.
• Experience leading cross-functional quality issue resolution (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC).

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end product and customer quality strategy for LEA and DSA from NPI to mass production.
• Serve as primary quality liaison between internal engineering teams and manufacturing partners.
• Lead RCCA investigations and cross-functional root cause analysis with design and manufacturing teams.
• Establish dashboards and analyze RMA data to drive continuous design and process improvements.
