Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Industrial division's Mobility group at the Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility. This on-site role will champion the EQMS and EBS as the voice of the customer, driving process controls and continuous improvement across manufacturing and machining processes.

You will lead corrective actions, participate in customer audits, and develop validation methods to ensure consistent quality, with relocation support available for U.S./PR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Quality Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. work authorization required; Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corrective actions using SPC, 8D, 5 Why, and A3 to improve FPY and reduce defects.
• Execute PPAP & APQP activities (control plans, PFMEAs, MSAs, GR&R) per EQMS/IATF16949.
• Manage a small team of Quality Technicians, including timecard approvals and performance development.
• Develop internal validation/inspection methods to ensure product quality consistency.
• Monitor CTQ trends and lead capability analyses for machine moves and new equipment.
• Lead quality audits and customer-focused activities including site visits and supplier QA.
