Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer to drive quality improvement and manufacturing excellence in Etters, PA. You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and problem‑solving methods to reduce defects and cycle times.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, build robust control plans, and develop data dashboards to monitor KPIs, while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or related manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce defects, scrap, and waste; drive cost of poor quality reduction.
• Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality.
• Develop continuous improvement roadmaps aligned with business objectives and prevention focus.
• Apply DMAIC, 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, FTA, and Pareto analyses to resolve issues.
