Job summary

Hunter Engineering Company in Durant, MS seeks a Quality Engineer III to assure quality across fabrication and manufacturing processes. You will implement quality standards and control processes, coordinating with engineering and production teams to meet customer expectations.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree and 5+ years in manufacturing QA; bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency in SPC, blueprints interpretation, and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Electronics Technology or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred for advancement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs the product launch process on new products in assigned departments.
• Plans and conducts analysis, inspection, test, and integration to assure product quality.
• Ensures inspection control plans are created and maintained for all parts that fit criteria.
• Interprets blueprints, drawings, and specifications to verify parts meet quality standards.
• Applies SPC methods to analyze data and improve processes.
