Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking an Advanced Quality Engineer for opportunities in the Grand Haven, MI area. The role focuses on leading quality initiatives, performing capability studies, and coordinating PPAP submissions with engineering and suppliers.

Salary ranges from $85,000 to $125,000 depending on experience. Ideal candidates bring at least three years of manufacturing quality engineering experience and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC.

Responsibilities

Run capability studies and SPC reviews to monitor process stability.
Coordinate PPAP submissions and new product launches with engineering and suppliers.
Conduct internal and supplier audits and track findings through closure.
Support gage R&R studies and measurement system analysis.
Train production and inspection staff on quality procedures.
Report quality metrics and drive continuous improvement projects.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints.
Develop and maintain control plans, FMEAs, and inspection standards.
