Job summary

Suzano is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Pine Bluff, Arkansas facility. You will lead QMS development, drive process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in quality or manufacturing, strong problem-solving and statistical skills, and hands-on experience with SAP and Advanced Excel. Join a global packaging leader focused on quality and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 10+ years in Quality/Process/Manufacturing roles.
• Experience in paper, packaging, pulp, chemical or continuous manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading quality improvement projects with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Management System development, standardization, and optimization.
• Mentor Quality Engineers and partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical Services.
• Monitor KPIs and drive actions to reduce COPQ and non-quality losses.
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, DMAIC, and other methods.
• Develop process control analytics and dashboards using SAP/Excel.
• Support customer quality initiatives, product qualifications, and validations.
