Kapco Metal Stamping, a leading contract manufacturer of precision metal components in the Midwest, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for its Grafton, WI site. The role focuses on developing and implementing quality systems, resolving complex issues, and driving continuous improvement across processes and products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive quality engineering experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with APQP tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Industrial or Mechanical preferred.
• ASQ CQE or CQA desirable; Auditor experience ISO 9000 and TS 16949.
• Willing to travel (Domestic/International) up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers regarding quality concerns, audits, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, launch plans, test plans, and inspection procedures.
• Lead corrective action plans and root-cause analysis to address defects and prevent recurrence.
• Monitor quality metrics (PPM, Cost of Quality) and report on performance.
