Job summary

Nordson EFD in the United States seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead cross-functional teams and advance quality design, manufacturing and administrative processes. You will develop risk assessments, perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

You will use Lean and Six Sigma tools, mentor team members in problem solving, and participate in ISO 9001:2015 audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 4+ years quality assurance experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in an ISO9000/9001 manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills – RCA / 8D / PDCA / DMAIC.
• Knowledge of QA tools: PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement quality design, manufacturing and administrative processes.
• Develop and document procedures, work instructions, and forms.
• Lead corrective actions and preventative actions to resolve issues.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive process improvement.
• Perform audits per ISO 9001:2015 and manage audit process.
• Support supplier quality data collection and analysis.
