Job summary

FlightSafety International seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to maintain and improve our ISO 9001 based Quality Management System. You will lead quality initiatives, analyze data for process improvements, and drive corrective actions across the organization.

A Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of industrial experience are required. The role emphasizes problem solving, inspection methods, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold aviation training quality and safety

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline.
• Minimum six years of industrial experience or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of quality philosophies, systems and improvement methods.
• Experience with inspection and control methods and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality requirements and standards in the QMS.
• Analyze data to facilitate process analysis and improvements.
• Develop and implement quality programs, tracking and reporting.
• Plan and assure product and process quality per quality principles.
• Design methods for process control and testing.
• Report quality issues and trends to management.
• Support and coach teams in continuous improvement (LEAN, Six Sigma).
• Develop strategies to improve productivity and efficiency of the QMS.
• Review data to identify trends and corrective/preventive actions.
• May supervise 3–6 non-supervisory inspectors.
