Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer - Data Analytics

Job Description:

Bridgefield Capital has announced its acquisition of Philips’ Emergency Care business, including renowned brands and products such as HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025. Building on our 40+ years of innovation in emergency medical technology, our mission is to save lives, reduce healthcare costs, and advance resuscitation science, serving public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital markets.

As a Senior Quality Engineer - Data Analytics, you will be part of an agile team, developing tools and methods to analyze quality data, providing insights and recommendations to leadership to enhance the safety and efficacy of our emergency care products.

Your role:
  1. Utilize advanced business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis techniques—including machine learning, computational statistics, and data mining—to extract insights from Philips’ data.
  2. Manipulate large datasets using innovative and proven tools to transform raw data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  3. Compile and analyze trending reports to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, quality assurance, and cost reduction.
  4. Develop and implement data-driven tools and techniques to support strategic decision-making by leadership.
  5. Create custom data queries and standardized reports by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs.
  6. Review Quality Operations KPIs, support compliance initiatives, including CAPAs, and validate all queries, reports, and metrics used for quality purposes.
  7. Lead cross-functional projects, demonstrating expertise in strategic improvement initiatives, and serve as a technical coach and strategist for Data Analytics, continuously improving procedures and work instructions.
You're the right fit if:
  1. You have at least 7 years of experience in Data Analytics, analyzing large data sets in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Finance, or Aerospace, with experience working within a QMS. Experience in an FDA-regulated medical environment is preferred.
  2. You have successfully led strategic Data Analytics initiatives and can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  3. You possess excellent communication skills, capable of leading presentations to leadership and influencing internal stakeholders.
  4. You are skilled in data mining, statistical analysis, data visualization, and writing queries for relational databases like MS SQL Server.
  5. You have experience with tools/languages such as Power BI, Minitab, Excel, Python, etc.
  6. You hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields; a Master’s degree is preferred. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.
  7. You can meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements for this role, with or without accommodations.
How we work together:

We believe in collaboration. Office-based roles require working onsite at least 3 days per week, with full-time presence in our facilities. Field roles are typically outside the main facilities at customer or supplier locations. This is an office role.

  • Pay ranges vary by location, e.g., in AZ, AR, ID, etc., from $109,013 to $174,420.
  • In CA, CT, DC, MA, NJ, the range is $128,520 to $205,632.

The actual salary depends on factors like experience, skills, and location. Additional compensation such as bonuses or stock plans may be offered, along with comprehensive benefits.

  • Travel up to 10% may be required.
