Job summary

Magna Cosma International in Bowling Green, KY seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure QA compliance, support audits, and manage complex projects. The role requires leadership in quality initiatives, deep stamping and welding knowledge, and strong communication.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering background, CQE or Six Sigma certification, and 3–7 years in leadership and 7+ years in quality engineering for launches and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• ASQ CQE certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt highly preferred.
• Significant experience in metal stamping (tandem, progressive, or transfer presses).
• Deep knowledge of welding processes ( Resistance Spot Welding, MIG/MAG, or Laser Welding).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to quality standards and support audits/regulatory inspections.
• Identify and raise quality issues with management.
• Responsible for multiple or highly complex projects.
