Job summary

H. T. PROF Group seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead APQP initiatives, drive root cause analysis, and support new product introductions.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to improve processes, maintain ISO 9001 standards, and champion Quality Planning. The role covers establishing controls for welded, machined, and formed metal products, ensuring compliance with engineering specs, welding codes, and customer tolerances.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
• CQE certification required or 2+ years certifiable experience
• Strong APQP knowledge and experience preferred
• Proficient in GD&T interpretation and engineering drawings
• Experience with PFMEA, DFMEA, and Control Plans

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities and cross-functional teams.
• Develop dashboards and QA systems.
• Create control plans and quality plans for new or legacy products.
• Manage product and process qualifications (CPK, Gage R&R).
• Monitor rejects and CAR trends for the US COE.
• Lead advanced quality planning and root-cause investigations.
• Ensure QMS certification compliance and audit schedules.
• Oversee design for quality assignments and supplier/customer interfacing.
