Job summary

Eaton’s Aerospace Group is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure quality across the manufacturing of pressure sensors for space applications. The role encompasses input from bid reviews, supplier oversight, production planning, testing, and final acceptance.

You will analyze quality data and drive root-cause investigations in a high-precision environment. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will support process improvements, audits, and customer-facing quality

Qualifications

• Ability to understand technical data.
• Knowledge of measurement systems.
• Understanding of statistics and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct activities for quality standards and systems.
• Develop methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
• Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve issues.
• Record and evaluate quality data with documented methods.
• Dispositon of discrepant material and cost assessment.
• Provide quality technical assistance to customers and suppliers.
• Work with teams on measuring and testing products and data.
• Create training material and conduct quality training sessions.
• Lead supplier quality control, PO reviews, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with FAA/DCMA and audit processes and customer reviews.
• Respond to customer information requests and coordinate FAA station activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
