Job summary

Creative Liquid Coatings seeks a quality assurance professional to develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve automotive quality processes. You will use data analysis to enhance quality reporting and drive process improvements during APQP and new program launches.

Responsibilities include leading APQP activities, training operational groups, communicating customer requirements, and supporting IATF and ISO 14001 standards to ensure successful PPAP and program launches.

Qualifications

• Experience leading APQP functions for new programs.
• Knowledge of PPAP processes and program launches.
• Understanding of GD&T and measurement systems.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Experience implementing and maintaining quality systems.

Responsibilities

Job description

This candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of automotive quality assurance processes. Throughout the implementation and maintenance process, this candidate should use data analysis to better understand quality reporting measures and improve processes.

SUMMARY

Responsible for creating, documenting, developing all APQP documents relating to new product launches and training the operational groups to secure a successful PPAP and launch of all new programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Lead all APQP functions as it relates to new programs culminating in successful launch of said programs.
• Assist in developing and training all operational groups of processes and requirements that relate to the launch of new programs.
• Understand, communicate and train all operational personnel on customer specific requirements.
• Lead / participate in corrective action audits and problem solving teams to support Continuous Improvements to meet performance criteria once a new program is launched.
• Perform Process Capabilities and measurement studies using statistical techniques as necessary to support new program launch and GDT requirements.
• Develop, document, and provide for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to support quality, cost and customer expectations.
• Familiar with customer specific Quality System requirements
• Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties (customer & supplier) on matters relating to new program requirements.
• Assist in training of new Quality group associates as needed.
• Must be an integral part of the Program Management Launch team.
