Job summary

InterSystems Corporation is seeking a Quality Specialist to enhance the quality, performance and usability of healthcare software through manual and automated testing within a cross-functional Agile team. You will contribute to EMR-focused projects, developing automated scripts and validating end-to-end workflows.

The role requires 3+ years in healthcare IT or software testing, strong attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in clinical, hospital operations, healthcare IT, PAS, or software testing role.
• Experience using, supporting, implementing, or testing EMR systems.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional or interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:

• Contribute as a Quality Specialist in a cross‑functional Agile development team, ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in clinical, hospital operations, healthcare IT, Patient Administration System (PAS), or software testing role.
• Experience using, supporting, implementing, or testing EMR systems.
• Experience working collaboratively in cross‑functional or interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing principles.

Preferred

• Experience in testing AI‑enabled applications.
• Technical proficiency in at least 1 programming language.
• Qualifications and/or certifications in AI.

Compensation

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.

Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.

$92,000 - $136,000 USD
