Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Rustenburg, North West. Lead the QC team, implement QA procedures, and drive improvements to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least 5 years in QC/QA with 2+ years in supervision, plus strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. On-site position with a focus on continuous improvement and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Quality) or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in quality control/assurance within manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the QC team and ensure efficient workflow.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures.
• Inspect raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products.
• Analyze quality data and implement CAPA to address defects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain quality records and documentation, including inspection reports.
• Train QC inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of QC equipment.
• Support customer audits with required quality information.
