Job summary

Hardware Specialty Co., Inc is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC function across Commercial and Military/Aerospace markets. You will supervise inspection activities, ensure ISO 9001/AS9120B compliance, and drive continuous improvements to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Technical Services to resolve issues, manage documentation, and uphold supplier and customer quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial quality control/assurance in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FAIs, PPAPs, and PSWs.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9120B, plus RoHS/REACH/DFARs compliance.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the QC team to meet quality objectives.
• Oversee inspections for incoming, in-process, and finished goods.
• Maintain calibration and recordkeeping for inspection tools.
• Review FAIs and PPAP documentation and approve PSWs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and costs.
• Serve as primary liaison for customers and suppliers on quality.
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain ISO/quality system compliance.
