Job summary

WesTech Engineering is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support inspection programs during fabrication of water treatment equipment. You will perform dimensional, weld, and coatings inspections, generate conformance reports, and ensure alignment with project requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and 50–75% travel to supplier sites and job locations. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related inspection experience, AWS/Welding Certification,

Qualifications

3–5 years of related inspection experience.
AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certification.
Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.6, and ASME IX.
Reading and analyzing Welding Procedure Specifications and related documents.
Proficient with MS Word/Excel and Windows applications.
English reading/writing proficiency.

Responsibilities

Review fabrication documentation (drawings, coating data sheets, POs, ITPs, welding and coating procedures).
Generate inspection reports and conformance packets to project requirements.
Follow quality control procedures aligned with industry standards and regulations.
Maintain and review quality documentation and work instructions.
Assure documentation accuracy from inspection activities (trip reports, photos, punch lists).
Coordinate with internal teams (Applications, PM, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Field Service).
Support supplier audits and reviews; communicate feedback to Product Managers.
