Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of QMS/Internal Auditing experience.
• 6+ years AS9100 or ISO9001 auditing in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong root cause analysis and corrective action abilities.
• Outstanding listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with special process oversight is a must.
• Desired: AS9100D/ISO9001/APQP Lead Auditor; external audit experience; aerospace background.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits to assess compliance with industry standards and provide objective evaluations of processes and documentation per AS9100 and internal media.
• Perform special process audits (NDT, Heat Treat, etc.) as required.
• Recommend and coordinate corrective actions for quality deficiencies.
• Support maturation of a QMS culture emphasizing awareness and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with management, peers, and stakeholders; report quality concerns promptly.
• Support external 3rd party audits.
• Mentor employees on the QMS and ensure alignment of documentation systems.
• Identify and implement QMS process and system improvements.
• Travel domestically up to 50%.
