Our client located in Carrollton is in search of a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to help shape the future of their DART suite of applications and Corporate Systems. In this critical role, you’ll be the gatekeeper of quality—testing software and hardware to ensure every release meets the highest standards. You’ll work closely with development teams, lead testing efforts, write detailed test cases for automation, and guide junior QA team members to success.

What you’ll do
  • Execute manual testing on business-critical applications to validate performance, usability, and functionality.
  • Create and maintain thorough test plans and test cases that align with project goals.
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to test new features, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior QA team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in project planning and estimation, ensuring quality requirements are addressed early.
  • Write robust test cases for automation engineers to streamline future regression testing.
  • Represent QA in project meetings, communicating testing progress and roadblocks.
What you’ll bring
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing for websites, mobile apps, and hardware products.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as SQL, .NET, or web technologies.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks—hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and working in Agile environments.
  • Proven ability to write detailed and effective test plans and test cases.
