Your Role

In this role, you’ll lead the software quality team responsible for the end-to-end experience and capabilities of our Hudl Focus camera product family. These products provide customers with seamless, real-time access to video and performance insights.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality software across the entire stack—including on-device applications, cloud services, and mobile apps—by working closely with cross-functional squads to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.

In this role you will focus on:

  • Coaching. You'll use your technical and quality understanding to guide others to level up their skills. As the point person for product quality, you’ll influence and challenge teams to incorporate quality best practices.
  • Automation Strategy & Execution: Own and evolve the test automation strategy to align with the pace of development. You’ll make informed decisions on what to automate, how to approach it, and when to implement it—balancing speed, coverage, and maintainability.

We’re looking to hire near our offices in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, but we’ll consider remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin or Dallas.

  • A focus on quality. You understand quality in the big picture and strive to improve quality and velocity. You will utilize data, metrics and user insights to identify areas of improvement and drive changes that enhance the overall product experience.
  • Collaborate. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional leaders to plan and deliver product enhancements while integrating diverse perspectives todriving innovation and ensure high product standards.
  • Drive technical excellence. You’ll guide your team in developing robust, scalable automation frameworks and quality solutions across the product ecosystem. • Champion work-life harmony . We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy . We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth . We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed . We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
