Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a highly experienced QA/ QC lead to design, develop, and oversee the quality control program for a DoD contract at NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, MD.

This onsite role emphasizes creating inspection plans, evaluating complex quality requirements, and mentoring junior inspectors. You will manage calibration, documentation, and continuous improvement activities while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory and contractual

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of quality assurance, quality control, inspection, or related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting production or manufacturing facilities.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC programs and oversee quality control efforts.
• Design and maintain inspection plans, procedures, and process controls.
• Analyze complex quality requirements and determine appropriate inspection methods and tooling.
• Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to verify quality.
• Inspect incoming materials, WIP assemblies, and finished products for conformance.
• Approve or reject items based on quality results.
• Utilize manual and automated inspection systems to evaluate quality.
• Investigate and resolve deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Monitor production processes for compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Maintain master QC files and quality records; track metrics.
