Overture Partners is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to support a large-scale healthcare technology modernization project, focusing on eligibility and enrollment systems, including mainframe and cloud components.

You will work with QA leadership, analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate functionality, identify gaps, manage defects, and report testing progress in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Analyst or similar quality assurance role.
• Experience testing IBM mainframe applications and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on testing: functional, regression, smoke, black-box, and white-box.
• Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios.
• Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and documentation.
• Identify, document, track, and triage defects.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience in structured QA methodologies, processes, templates, and testing tools.

Job Overview

A Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is needed urgently to support a large-scale healthcare technology modernization initiative. This role will focus on testing eligibility and enrollment systems, including legacy mainframe applications and cloud-based infrastructure. Candidates should bring strong QA experience, hands-on test execution skills, and proven experience with mainframe environments to secure an interview.

Must Haves

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Analyst or similar quality assurance role.

• Strong background testing IBM mainframe applications and enterprise systems.

• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, black-box, and white-box testing.

• Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.

• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing detailed test cases and test documentation.

• Demonstrated experience identifying, documenting, tracking, and triaging software defects.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience working in structured QA methodologies, processes, templates, and testing tools.

What the Client Needs You to Do

The successful candidate will help ensure that critical eligibility and enrollment applications operate reliably throughout an ongoing modernization effort. You will collaborate with QA leadership, business analysts, developers, project teams, and other stakeholders to validate system functionality, identify gaps, manage defects, and provide clear reporting on testing progress. The role requires someone who can work effectively in a fast-changing environment while maintaining high standards for quality, documentation, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements across mainframe and web-based enterprise applications.

• Participate in requirements workshops, Joint Application Development sessions, technical walkthroughs, and other project discussions.

• Perform gap analysis to identify missing requirements, business-rule deficiencies, and opportunities to strengthen testing coverage.

• Develop functional and regression test scenarios and cases to support frequent application changes and releases.
