Job summary

Hercules Materials Holdings is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Toledo, OH. The role involves hands-on testing of concrete and related materials, collaborating with management and customers, and ensuring production quality across all phases.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years in the concrete industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve practical problems both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience in the concrete industry.
• Ability to test, document and report concrete plastic properties.
• Strong communication, investigative and practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily concrete production ensuring compliance with standards and initiate corrective actions.
• Present a favorable image of the company to customers and employees.
• Act as liaison among production, sales, site engineers, inspectors and customers to address concerns.
• Assist in laboratory functions: cylinder handling, compression, aggregate sampling and data entry.
