Job summary

The Scientist 3 - QC at Amneal in Brookhaven, NY, performs testing of raw materials, in-process and finished dosage forms, and stability samples per SOPs and compendial methods. You will calculate results and report them, and participate in method transfer activities.

You will document steps, review data for completeness and compliance, and assist investigations of abnormal results. A solid background in analytical chemistry and GMP knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science is required.
• Master's degree in Chemistry or related science is preferred.
• Experience with pharmaceutical testing and adherence to cGMP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, including stability samples, per SOPs and compendial methods.
• Calculate and report results; participate in method transfer activities.
• Document analysis steps and review data for completeness and specification compliance.
• Support investigations into abnormal results and system improvements.
