Job summary
Amneal is seeking a Scientist II - QC to perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process & finished products, including stability samples, and to participate in method transfer activities between facilities. The role involves preparing samples, documenting steps, analyzing results, and leading investigations of out-of-specification data.
Required BA/BS in Chemistry or related field with 3+ years of testing chemicals/pharmaceuticals; Master's degree preferred with 1+ year of relevant
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Chemistry or related science required; minimum 3 years testing chemicals/pharmaceutical products.
- MA/MS in Chemistry or related science preferred; 1 year testing experience.
- Experience with analytical techniques and laboratory documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process and finished products using validated methods and SOPs.
- Prepare samples, document steps and calculate/report results.
- Lead or participate in method transfer activities between facilities or organizations.
- Investigate out-of-specification results; participate in root-cause analyses.
- Calibrate dissolution apparatus and analytical instruments (FT-IR, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC) as assigned.
