The Walsh Group is seeking a Quality Manager I for San Francisco Bay Area construction projects. You will drive quality management programs, supervise inspection and testing, and coordinate with owners, agencies and design teams to ensure compliant, safe and high‑quality delivery.

We value a senior background in AEC, formal quality certifications, and strong communication. This role involves limited travel and offers potential bonuses and growth within a family-owned yet large company.

Qualifications

• AEC degree or equivalent with related field experience.
• 7+ years of AEC experience, with 3+ in quality role.
• USACE/NAVFAC/NRC CQM certification preferred but not required.
• Industry certifications for testing and inspection as required.

Responsibilities

• Quality champion for a project or multiple projects, overseeing quality of works, material management, documentation and close-out.
• Coaches, mentors and trains project staff in quality management principles and procedures.
• Leads and manages quality processes such as work planning, material management, QA/QC, and inspections.
• Establishes, monitors and reports KPIs and QIRs to drive continuous improvement.
• Routinely audits project quality programs and provides feedback on non-conformances and stakeholder relationships.
