Job summary

Croda is seeking a QC Manager for Raw Materials to provide strategic leadership of the Raw Material Release team within Quality Control. You will guide staff, optimize workflows, and ensure GMP compliance while partnering with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and senior leadership.

Responsibilities include strategic direction for QC testing, equipment maintenance, investigations, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology analytical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Raw Material Release team and oversee QC activities for GMP products.
• Manage calibration, maintenance, and qualification of analytical equipment; ensure data integrity.
• Drive investigations for OOS/OOT, deviations, and CAPAs with root-cause analysis and timely corrective actions.
• Support regulatory inspections and customer audits, serving as QC laboratory SME for compliance.
