Job summary

Forge Biologics in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Director of Quality Control (Raw Materials) to lead the RM QC program and ensure GMP compliance across pre-clinical to commercial manufacturing. You will oversee material qualification, external testing oversight, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality Senior Management.

This senior role requires expertise in raw materials testing, CAPEX, budgeting, and regulatory knowledge to drive laboratory readiness and through-put while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Experience leading QC or similar in GMP environments is required.
• Deep knowledge of global pharmacopeias (USP/EP/JP/BP) and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to QC RM testing and release.
• Develop phase-appropriate material qualification programs for pre-clinical to commercial activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs; maintain inspection readiness.
