Job summary

Croda is seeking a QC Manager - Raw Materials to provide strategic leadership for the Raw Material Release team within Quality Control. You will partner with the Head of Quality Control to oversee testing resources and ensure the timely, compliant release of GMP materials, while mentoring laboratory staff.

You will drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to meet site goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• Eight+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology analytical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for QC Raw Material testing activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop QC Analysts and laboratory personnel.
• Ensure GMP, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across the lab.
• Oversee investigations, CAPAs, and root-cause analysis for OOS/OOT events.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and senior leadership.
