Global Power Components is actively seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector in Milwaukee, WI to perform mechanical and electrical assembly inspections and ensure adherence to internal and customer specifications. The role emphasizes maintaining quality documentation and collaborating with QC, engineering, and production teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of manufacturing QC experience, proficiency with blueprint reading, and knowledge of measurement tools.

Qualifications

3–5 years of quality control or inspection experience in manufacturing.
Experience with power generation or enclosure manufacturing is preferred.
Weld inspection knowledge is preferred.
Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical drawings.
Ability to read measurements with precision tools and use Excel/Word; ERP/SharePoint a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections on mechanical and electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain complete, accurate quality documentation.
Coordinate with QC team to meet production and shipping timelines.
Identify and elevate quality issues impacting delivery or performance.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production to resolve issues and improve processes.
Participate in corrective actions for non-conformances and recurring defects.
Assist in updating SOPs and inspection protocols as needed.
Support training and audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
