Job summary

Atlas Field Services seeks an outdoor, detail‑oriented quality control professional to audit vegetation management work in Louisiana. You will assess tree clearance, conduct risk evaluations, and document findings for client systems.

Strong communication with stakeholders and adherence to safety standards are essential. The role requires ISA Arborist certification, at least 3 years in QC/QA within utility vegetation projects, and comfort working in remote outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Quality Control/QA or related field in utility vegetation management.
• Active ISA Certified Arborist certification required.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI A300 and GO-95 where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control assessments of vegetation management work to ensure client specs and safety standards.
• Inspect overhead lines and rights‑of‑way for clearance and non‑compliance, recommend mitigations.
• Identify hazard trees and perform risk assessments using industry methods.
• Document findings and maintain records in client databases and reporting systems.
• Audit contractor performance for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance; provide feedback.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, landowners, and public to communicate results.
• Support emergency response and hazard mitigation per safety protocols.
• Assist with line clearance projects and program improvements as needed.
• Promote safety culture while working in diverse outdoor environments.
