Job summary

Procentrix in Washington, DC is seeking a seasoned QA/Test Engineer to drive quality across IT systems development projects. The role requires hands-on manual testing of complex multi-tier web-based applications and data-driven systems, with a focus on test planning, execution, and defect management.

You will collaborate with developers and business analysts, write clear test cases and user guides, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to ensure changes meet specifications and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in QA/testing for IT systems development.
• Hands-on testing of multi-tier web-based systems and data-driven apps.
• Experience writing test plans and test cases.
• Experience coordinating UAT and producing test analysis reports.
• Proficient with defect tracking and test management processes.
• Strong documentation skills including user guides or help content.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing across a portfolio of applications on a large program.
• Develop, implement, and execute test plans and scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and end users to resolve issues.
• Test new and legacy applications against specifications.
