Job summary

HRUCKUS is seeking an experienced Software QA Tester for an on-site assignment in Washington, DC to test the DMV enterprise application for public safety and digital government services.

The role requires extensive hands-on testing with Microfocus ALM and Jira, strong SQL validation skills, and both manual and automated testing in an Agile environment, with ERP domain experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microfocus ALM (6+ years).
• Experience with Jira (6+ years).
• 10+ years experience in Testing Reports.
• 10+ years SQL data validation for PS tables.
• Strong communication with project management, clients and developers.
• Candidates able to participate in the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Ability to review requirements, write test cases, execute tests, and create defects.
• ERP management processes experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, and cases (functional, automation, integration, regression).
• Execute manual and automated tests; track defects and ensure resolution.
• Automate tests using Selenium/ACCELQ and other tools.
• Write automated scripts from User Stories and develop methodology.
• Collaborate with developers, PMs, and BAs to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Document test results and maintain artifacts.
• Use Jira to manage defects and lifecycle; ensure DC Government security standards.
