The DC OCTO is hiring a Software QA Tester for the DMV enterprise application in Washington, DC. This onsite role covers requirements review, test design and execution (manual and automated), defect tracking in JIRA, SQL data validation, and API testing in an Agile setting following DC Government security standards.

Responsibilities include developing test strategies, executing tests, automating where possible with Selenium and ACCELQ, and collaborating with developers and analysts to refine

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software testing / QA experience.
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, ACCELQ).
• Strong SDLC understanding and version control knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test strategies, plans, and test cases for the DMV enterprise application (functional, automation, integration, regression).
• Execute manual and automated tests, track defects, and ensure resolution with proper documentation.
• Automate test cases using test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, ACCELQ).
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Use JIRA to manage the defect lifecycle; validate results with SQL queries against application tables.
