Job summary

IT MINDS L.L.C. is seeking a Senior QA Tester to support ongoing enhancements to IDEA grants monitoring applications, including new funding streams and form upload processes.

The role combines manual testing with automation where appropriate, focusing on test plans, API and database validation, and ensuring quality across functional, usability, and accessibility standards. You will work with business analysts and developers to validate requirements, develop test scenarios, and execute tests

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA and software testing experience.
• Strong manual testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) and Section 508.
• Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Proficiency with SQL queries and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, UAT, usability and accessibility testing.
• Develop and maintain manual test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Leverage testing tools to expand automated testing where feasible.
• Review requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design test scenarios in collaboration with business analysts.
• Execute API tests and validate data with SQL queries.
• Document results, defects, and recommendations; assist triage and production support.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure production migration success.
• Assist with documentation updates and process improvements.
• Participate in agile or similar collaborative development environments.
