Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Senior QA Tester to support education grant programs, including IDEA Parts B and C. The role emphasizes manual testing with automated efforts where appropriate, collaborating with analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure accessibility and quality.

You will validate requirements, perform API and database testing, write test plans and scripts, and help ensure WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508 compliance across federal and state government software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience in software projects.
• Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, UAT, usability, and accessibility testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases, scripts, plans, and documentation.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts when applicable.
• Review requirements and technical docs to ensure coverage.
• Collaborate with analysts to define test scenarios and gather requirements.
• Perform API testing and web service validation to ensure reliability.
• Execute SQL queries and validate data integrity.
• Document results, defects, and recommendations for resolution.
• Participate in defect triage, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Support production deployments with validation and verification.
• Maintain user and system documentation as processes evolve.
• Assist in business process improvement and application validation.
• Ensure accessibility conformance including WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508.
