Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring a QA Supervisor for a food manufacturing facility in Greeneville, TN. The role focuses on hands-on daily plant quality, food safety standards, and supervising QA technicians to ensure GMP compliance.

Responsibilities include training staff, reviewing processing conformance, maintaining QA manuals, and driving safety protocols. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually with first shift hours.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with the Quality System requirements of the plant.
• Reviews processing activities to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Assures that products are being produced in conformance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Investigates and communicates to the Q.A manager all food safety issues.
• Supervises the daily activities of the technicians.
• Schedules the work assignments of the technicians.
• Responsible for assessing the training needs of the technicians, making sure that training is adequately performed and documented.
• Ensures that a safe work environment exists in the department and that safety meetings are conducted and documented.
• Reviews and update work aids (instructions, charts, manuals, bulletins, code date calendars, etc.) essential for verification of product quality.
