The role collaborates with developers, business analysts, and leadership to translate requirements into usable interfaces, supports the development lifecycle, and ensures secure, maintainable software. Requires 4+ years in QA and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years in SharePoint/web design, software development, or software testing/QA.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and familiarity with modern languages or frameworks (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET).
• Understanding of usability, accessibility, secure coding, and structured development lifecycles.
• Active Secret Security clearance is required and background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for automated and manual testing.
• Test system modifications prior to implementation to validate functionality and quality.
• Identify edge cases, perform defect triage, and conduct regression testing.
• Document and log defects using a bug-tracking system and collaborate with developers.
• Participate in software design reviews and translate requirements into usable interfaces.
• Develop, enhance, and refine software application features, ensuring secure coding practices.
