Job summary

Orion Marine Group is seeking a qualified QA/QC professional to implement and manage the project quality control program for concrete construction projects. The role involves coordinating with internal and external teams to review documents, coordinate activities, and ensure adherence to project standards during the construction duration.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of concrete construction experience.
• Proficient in QA/QC practices, regulations, and plan development.
• Ability to obtain or possess inspection licenses/certifications as required.
• Well organized, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to adjust to changing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains project quality records for the construction phase and quality audit plans.
• Monitors implementation of the approved site QC Plan and material/equipment adherence to specs.
• Creates, documents, and distributes all QA/QC plans, checklists, inspections, punch lists, and reports.
• Conducts QA/QC meetings, reviews deficiencies, and maintains minutes and records.
• Uses data to identify ways to reduce deficiencies and improve overall quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
