Job summary

Concrete Strategies LLC. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to support a regional business unit. Responsibilities include pre-construction QA, scope interpretation, and coordination with project teams and GCs to ensure quality compliance across projects.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in concrete construction, strong knowledge of codes (ACI/PCI/TCA), and a proactive, team-driven approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with concrete construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction management, Engineering or related field recommended.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices required
• Strong knowledge of concrete production, testing and placement
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes (ACI, PCI, TCA)
• Excellent problem-solving skills with adaptability and teamwork
• Experience leading project teams and maintaining relationships with external entities
• Energetic, highly motivated with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

• Contract/Scope/Specification review and interpretation
• Pre-construction specification review
• Pre-construction mix design review with specialists and suppliers
• Project safety compliance
• Regional project quality compliance
• Periodic project quality reviews
• Develop solutions to quality issues with project teams
• Coordinate with GC/Owner and Operations manager
