Job summary

CTI and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Quality Specialist III to support landfill management, operations, inspection, and maintenance for ERDF/IDF at Hanford Site. You will perform QA surveillances, audits, and field inspections, ensuring conformance with the QA Program and project standards.

Role requires DOE site experience, 4+ years in QA/QC/Construction Management, and certifications in basic, mechanical, civil, or welding inspections. Proactive problem-solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental engineering/technology, Construction Management, Geology or related field or equivalent years of education and experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in Construction QA/QC, Construction Management, or related field.
• Landfill CQA experience is preferred.
• DOE Site experience is required.
• Experience and knowledge of ASME, AWS, ASNT, ISO, ASTM, IBS, NQA-1 Standards & Commercial Grade Dedication Methods is required.
• Prior inspection certifications for basic, mechanical, civil and welding are preferred.
• Experience in Lockout/Tagout is preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certified a plus.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA surveillances, assessments, audits, and reviews to determine compliance with the project QA Program.
• Develop, review and approve documents and procedures implementing the project QA Program.
• Perform field inspection and oversight of work activities using basic, mechanical and welding level II inspection disciplines.
• Provide expert QA/QC guidance and problem-solving expertise to resolve quality problems.
• Perform contract and contractor oversight activities.
• Verify and document materials/equipment conformance, storage, and acceptability for use.
• Schedule, coordinate, and document required inspections; address non-conformances.
• Stop work, reject materials, and direct removal/replacement for non-compliance.
• Track and submit batch plant tickets; manage related programs.
• Communicate with trades, manufacturers, suppliers, and customers professionally.
