Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for Transmission and Distribution to lead audits, develop a standard QA/QC program, and train staff on quality expectations.

The role ensures compliance with contract specs, NESC/NEC, and client requirements, serving as the main quality contact for inspectors on projects. The position may be located at subsidiary locations or at the Thornton, CO headquarters, with travel up to 50% and a focus on improving quality practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Prior experience in a quality assurance or control position.
• 2+ years in a QA/QC supervisory or leadership capacity preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Create and establish a QA/QC standard program across the Transmission and Distribution organization.
• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) and project-specific quality management plans (QMPs).
• Prepare and complete project construction quality review checklists and required documentation.
• Manage the non-conformance (NCR) process, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier quality submittals and certifications.
• Submit quality reporting to management.
• Act as primary quality liaison with client inspectors and third-party agencies.
