Job summary

ASRC Energy Services, LLC (AES) seeks a Senior QA/QC Manager to lead quality systems across fabrication shops and field projects in the energy sector. You will design, implement, and audit durable quality programs, partnering with fabrication leadership, project management, and field teams to drive compliance and performance.

The role requires travel to facilities and sites; you will build enterprise-wide quality processes, ensure NBIC R Stamp, WPS management, and effective inspection planning

Qualifications

  • 15+ years relevant experience (Preferably in the Oil/Gas/Petrochemical industry).
  • 5+ years of experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) required.
  • Annual Visual Acuity, including color vision tests required.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the Quality Management System representative in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Providing guidance and processes for ASRC Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS), including training, awareness, communication, application of continual improvement, compliance and assurance.
  • Management of ASRC Energy’s quality team, ensuring they are aware of their roles, responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Maintain the Company’s Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) library.
  • Responsible for designing, developing and qualifying welding procedures and techniques to ensure the production of quality welds.
  • Maintain Welder Qualification Test Records (WQTR) and complete records for new welders.
  • Assist with proposals, such as quality plans.
  • Document deficiencies, conduct root cause analysis, and prepare nonconformance reports.
  • Maintain the NBIC “R” Stamp Certification.
  • Able to develop detailed repair plans, including the scope of work, methods and acceptance testing Per NBIC.
  • Able to interpret documents such as design drawings, specifications, building and welding codes, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Verify subcontractor quality requirements are specified to vendor and subcontractor documentation submittals through effective implementation of the Inspection Test Plan Process.

SENIOR QA/QC MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY

The Senior QA/QC Manager is the single corporate authority for quality assurance and quality control across ASRC Energy Services fabrication and field installation activities. The Senior QA/QC Manager develops and maintains durable, auditable quality management systems that can be implemented consistently across fabrication shops and field projects. These systems are designed to be inherited and executed by project teams, ensuring consistent quality standards throughout the organization. This position provides senior-level leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for quality programs, standards, and procedures. The role partners with fabrication leadership, project management, and field teams to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Periodic travel to fabrication facilities and active project sites is required to assess system effectiveness, support implementation, and reinforce quality culture. This is a senior leadership position focused on building and maintaining enterprise-wide quality systems rather than performing project-level inspection activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
