Job summary

Purple Carrot is seeking a Senior QA Manager to join our mission-driven Operations team in Chicago. You will own production tool accuracy, allergen compliance, and KPI reporting across Ready-to-Eat, Grocery, and meal kit programs.

This role partners with Supply Chain, Culinary, R&D, Procurement, CX, and fulfillment to ensure safe, accurately labeled products and proactive quality improvement. On-site 3–4 days/week with hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, or related field.
• 4+ years in QA, food safety, or supplier quality in the food industry.
• Willingness to commute to Chicago, IL office 3–5 days/week.
• Strong knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, and allergen labeling.

Responsibilities

• Own QA checks, allergen reviews, and label accuracy for products.
• Lead weekly Quality KPI reporting to partners.
• Manage the Quality Management Board in Asana and drive CAPA.
• Collaborate across Supply Chain, Culinary, R&D, and CX.
