Job Description: Senior QA Lead (Strong Functional and automation testing)

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior QA Lead with strong expertise in functional and automation testing, with hands-on experience using Python for test automation. You will lead quality assurance efforts across projects, design scalable test strategies, and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts across manual and automation testing, ensuring product quality and timely releases.
• Design and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python for web, API, and backend testing.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Monitor, document, and track bugs through resolution using tools like JIRA.
• Mentor QA engineers, conduct code reviews for test scripts, and promote best practices.
• Continuously identify areas for QA process improvements and drive automation-first mindset.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in software QA, including functional and automation testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python-based test automation (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework).
• Proven experience in leading QA teams or QA efforts across multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with Selenium, API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured), and test case management tools.
• Proficient in Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications.
